Job Duties & Responsibilities
The Insurance and Actuarial Advisory Services (IAAS) practice is a market leading service, covering all segments of the property/casualty and life/health insurance industries. We’ll look to you to support our Client Engagement teams, performing a diverse range of actuarial tasks, including financial modelling, loss reserving, financial and regulatory reporting, product development and pricing analysis, litigation support, customer analytics, rate setting and other consulting projects. Skills and Qualification
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor's degree or greater in Organization and Management, Mathematical Statistics, Mathematics and Statistics, Quantitative Science.
- A strong preference for candidates that have at least 2 actuarial exams passed.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, ensuring clear and effective interactions with team members and clients.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (e.g. Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Relevant prior internship experience in the actuarial field.
- Access to reliable transportation to/from the office and client sites. A driver’s license is strongly recommended as ride share and public transportation options may not be available in all locations.
- The ability and willingness to travel and work in excess of standard hours when necessary. In certain circumstances, travel may be required beyond your work location based on client and project needs.
Compensation
The compensation for this role is $80,000 - $90,000 annually.
